Meet the voices behind the Your Way Auction microphones: Doug Dean, Owner, and Skip Mitchell, Associate Auctioneer. With over 30 years of combined experience in the auction industry, they bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to every event. Doug specializes in antiques, glassware, farm primitives and Native American artifacts, while Skip has a deep background in carpentry tools, farm primitives, and mid-century modern. Their dedication to providing an exceptional auction experience, coupled with their commitment to customer satisfaction, ensures that each auction is both exciting and professional.
Doug Dean, Owner & Auctioneer
Doug grew up attending auctions in Southwest Colorado. He started his journey working as a ring man, gaining firsthand experience and learning the ropes. In the mid-1990s, Doug conducted his first auction, and he’s never looked back. He later attended the Worldwide College of Auctioneering.
Skip Mitchell, Associate Auctioneer
Skip's journey into the auction world also began at a young age. He then ventured out as a ring man, gaining experience and understanding of the auction process. Skip attended Western College of Auctioneering, where he further developed his skills. Skip still enjoys being behind the microphone.

Mike, your leadership, your unwavering support, and your friendship have left an indelible mark on our lives and careers. You entrusted us with the opportunity to be part of something truly special — an elite auction company that grew into more than just a business. It has been a family, and we are forever thankful to both you and Mary for allowing us to contribute to that legacy.
Mike was not only our employer but also our mentor, guiding us with wisdom and inspiring us with his dedication. His example taught us not just about the business of auctions, but about the values of integrity, respect, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
